Civil Engineer (National University of Colombia), M. Sc. and Ph.D. in Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation (Water Research Institute of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil). Expert in numerical modelling of hydrodynamics, hydrology, turbulence, sediments, fluid-structure interaction and turbulent heat transfer. Current postdoctoral researcher on global stream-flow seasonal forecast (Centre National de Recherches Météorologiques, Météo France - CNRM). Additional postdoctoral research on hydrodynamics-hydrology coupling at regional/continental scales, sedimentary processes simulation and computational fluid dynamics around complex geometries in institutions in Brazil and France.
